Ozon says opens first sorting center, office in Kyrgyzstan
MOSCOW, Jan 12 (PRIME) -- Russian marketplace Ozon has launched its first sorting center in Kyrgyzstan and opened a local office to expand assortment of textile and homeware products on the platform and facilitate access for the local sellers, the company said on Thursday in a statement.
“As we develop our international business, Ozon launched a sorting center in Bishkek. It accepts and handles orders, collects and packs them and deals with returns…Ozon also opened a representative office in Bishkek to attract sellers from Kyrgyzstan,” the company said.
The logistics center will facilitate access for the local businessmen to the Russian market.
Kyrgyzstan has become the third country in the CIS where Ozon localizes business, following Belarus and Kazakhstan.
